Since opening in 1993, Chart Hills Golf Club has quickly gained an impressive reputation. Laid out by Sir Nick Faldo, the golf course has been completely renovated to become a highly sought after challenge in the Kent region that golfers are returning to year after year.
As Faldo's first architectural project in the United Kingdom, this Kent masterpiece has been widely acclaimed and considered to be a fair challenge to a range of handicaps. Supported by American designer Steve Smyers, Faldo has carved a monumental championship course from the rural lands of the Garden of England.
Accuracy off the tee is essential with many fairways at an angle and a huge amount of bunkers peppered around the course, ready to receive and offline drives and approached. The par-5 5th hole with it's Anaconda bunker which meanders along over 200 yards of the hole is a highlight while the island green on the par-3 17th is a heart in mouth shot to end the round.
