As a Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Your Golf Travel, I felt it important to write to you during these times of economic uncertainty.
A lot has been said in the press since the Brexit vote last Friday about travel and holidays, as well as foreign exchange currency fluctuations. I want to assure all existing customers that once you have booked and paid the deposit of your holiday with us, the price of that holiday will not change in the future, not even up to as little as 10% as suggested in our Terms and Conditions.
The majority of tour operators in our sector as well as in others have not made such a commitment and often add surcharges to clients post-booking, which they are often legally permissible to do. I believe it is more important our customers have peace of mind on this subject.
As I am sure you are aware we are a fully bonded and insured tour operator with ABTA membership, and hold ATOL and IATA licences so your holiday is fully secured with us and financially protected under our Terms and Conditions. Our head office is in London and our company is based in the United Kingdom.
Our Product teams will be working harder than ever over the coming weeks and months to ensure we continue to negotiate the best deals possible for our long-standing customers travelling into the Eurozone and USA in the future. As ever, we remain fully committed to this!
Since our inception just over 10 years ago we have taken great care and pride in sending over 2 million golfers on their holidays to over 24 countries worldwide. Nothing in that respect has changed and our team will continue to work tirelessly on a daily basis so that our customers have the best service and experience, whether it be on a short golf break or more extended holiday. It is also worth reiterating that no regulation changes regarding travelling to and from the EU will come into effect for at least another two years.
As previously mentioned, I felt it was important for me to clarify Your Golf Travel’s position with you and thank you again for your continued custom and loyalty.
