We were forced out of our booking at Slaley Hall by YGT. Eventually Linden was chosen as a replacement. Fortunately we thoroughly enjoyed our experience at Linden except, Leo Charlton assured me we would have our evening meals in the Dobson Restaurant, (I have his email claiming to have spoken to the hotel)we couldn’t . The manager informed me only corporate events have dinner in that restaurant - extremely disappointed. What is YGT going to compensate ??
Beautifully set in the Northumberland countryside, Macdonald Linden Hall Golf and Country Club is a superb golf destination, whose parkland layout will be enjoyed by all those who visit, whilst remaining a genuine challenge for even the best golfer. Some excellent holes have been carved out by designer Jonathan Gaunt, who has used the indigenous landscape to create natural hazards, challenging holes and overall a great test of golf.
Once the golf has finished, you can then take advantage of the 450 acres that Linden Hall sits in and start exploring the great outdoors. You can even take a trip to the local Northumberland Zoo if you really are looking for something different. If that isn’t for you, why not utilise the extra facilities Linden Hall has to offer like Spa, Gym or swimming pool.
The new fully refurbished Linden Tree Pub is relaxed and genuine, beautifully in tune with its surroundings and firmly focused on delivering fabulous food and warm hospitality to every guest. Cuisine on offer include tasty beer battered haddock & hand Cut Chips as well as the famous Linden Tree Pub Burger, the Linden Tree Pub has everything a golfer would need including a wide selection of handpicked local ales.
