I started playing golf aged 7 with my father at a local course in Surrey. Growing up playing county golf enabled me to play the best golf courses in England playing alongside the best golfers in the country.
Having worked in the golf industry for over 20 years, I started working for YourGolfTravel in 2010. After getting married I moved to France and play a lot of golf at Bethemont and Le Golf National with my 8 year old son, who is better than I was at his age!

Having grown up in the South of England and playing most of the courses in the area from a young age, I started to travel more. Studying at the University of Plymouth allowed me to play some incredible courses, namely St Mellion, St Enodoc and Saunton.
After university I spent a year coaching golf at a summer camp in New York State which was an incredible experience. It also gave me the chance to play some golf courses in and around New York, the best of which were Friars Head and winged foot. Aged 24 I moved to Australia for 18 months and was lucky enough to play two of the best courses around Melbourne, Royal Melbourne and Kingston heath. I was working at a local golf course in Melbourne (Albert park) which is right in the middle of the city. With the MCG just down the road and in the middle of the formula 1 race track, Melbourne is a sports fan's dream and would make an incredible sport/golf trip.
Living just outside Paris gives me access to some of Europe's best courses and I was able to play Saint-Germain last year which is a must for anyone visiting Paris or Le Golf National.
America
This is the ultimate bucket list trip, watching the best players play the world best golf course
Australia
Whilst working in Australia I was lucky enough to be invited to play this wonderful golf course. If you ever get the chance to play it, you will not regret it!
Northern Ireland
Playing one of the best links courses on earth in real golf conditions (very strong winds) is the best test of anyone's game.
England
In my opinion, the Nicklaus course at St Mellion is the best inland course in the UK. One of the hardest courses in Europe whilst being one of the most beautiful at the same time.
Italy
I am a huge fan of the Ryder cup and have watched it on TV all my life. The atmosphere alone would be an amazing experience.
South Africa
One of my closest friends is from South Africa and an avid golfer. The way he describes golf in this country with such passion and enthusiasm makes me want to visit as soon as possible!
Spain
Known to be one of the toughest tests in world golf and a Ryder cup venue, this is the next course for me to tick off my list.
